Fiji’s growing presence in the global health and wellness sector was on show at the 2025 Naturally Good Expo in Sydney, where a select group of Fijian companies presented premium, sustainable products to an international audience of buyers, distributors and health-focused retailers.
The Fijian participation at the event, held in early June, was led and coordinated by the Fiji Trade Commission office based in Australia, working to strengthen market linkages for high-quality Fijian goods across the region. The Naturally Good Expo, a major trade show for the health, organic and natural products sector, brought together thousands of exhibitors and trade professionals from across the Asia-Pacific.
Fijian companies showcased a range of value-added products that highlighted the country’s rich natural resources and traditional knowledge. Products on display included herbal teas, virgin coconut oil, natural skincare, and high-grade noble kava—many of which drew keen interest from prospective importers and health retail chains.
The event provided an invaluable opportunity for Fijian entrepreneurs to engage directly with international buyers, learn about export requirements, and explore how to position their products effectively in mature markets like Australia and beyond. The Fiji Pavilion attracted strong foot traffic throughout the expo, with several distributors enquiring about retail partnerships and sourcing options.
The initiative is part of the wider effort by Fiji’s Trade Commission to elevate the profile of local producers and promote Fijian-made wellness goods in overseas markets. This engagement builds on Fiji’s global reputation as a source of clean, ethically produced, and sustainable natural products.
While the event offered strong commercial exposure, it also served as a learning platform for participating small and medium enterprises. Discussions with trade experts and supply chain professionals provided insights into certification standards, packaging expectations, and evolving consumer preferences in the health sector.
The connections formed at the Sydney expo are expected to pave the way for new export orders and business collaborations, offering Fijian companies a meaningful pathway into larger and more competitive markets.
