The countdown has begun for the second Pacific Infrastructure Conference, set to take place from 18-20 August 2025 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre. The event will bring together decision-makers, developers, investors, and community voices from across the region for three days of high-level discussions and deal-making.
Following the success of the inaugural conference in 2023, this year’s edition promises to be even more ambitious in scope and impact. Infrastructure remains a central driver of economic development and resilience across the Pacific Islands, with significant investment now flowing into energy, water, transport, digital connectivity, and social infrastructure.

Sophie Boucaut, APIBC Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Johnstaff International Development
Sophie Boucaut, APIBC Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Johnstaff International Development, said the conference would be a rare and valuable opportunity for the region’s infrastructure stakeholders to connect and collaborate.
“The second Pacific Infrastructure Conference in mid-August 2025 will be a fantastic opportunity to hear from experts planning, designing, delivering, and financing infrastructure across our Pacific region,” she said.
Boucaut highlighted that this year’s speaker programme is designed around the Pacific Quality Infrastructure Principles, with strong emphasis on local content, climate resilience, and inclusive project design. These themes are increasingly shaping how infrastructure is approached in the region, both by governments and the private sector.
“Infrastructure continues to be a major investment priority and need, unlocking progress towards critical development goals,” she added. “The speaker line-up includes experts from across the Pacific, and we look forward to welcoming you there.”
The conference will also include project showcases, national infrastructure pipelines, investment briefings, panel discussions, and networking events designed to forge new partnerships and fast-track delivery. With climate adaptation and sustainability high on the agenda, the event comes at a critical time as Pacific nations seek smart, future-ready infrastructure solutions.
