Fiji Airways has upgraded its onboard connectivity services, offering complimentary full-flight messaging Wi-Fi to Economy Class passengers on Airbus A350 and Boeing 737MAX aircraft. This initiative, effective from 1 November, reflects the airline’s commitment to enhancing the travel experience.
The new service allows passengers to communicate with friends and family using their preferred messaging apps throughout the flight at no additional cost. This upgrade from the previous 15-minute limit aims to meet the growing demand for in-flight connectivity and improve customer satisfaction.
In addition to the complimentary service for Economy Class passengers, Business Class guests continue to benefit from full-flight browsing Wi-Fi, enabling them to stay connected for work or leisure purposes during their journey.
Adelaide-Nadi Flights
Meanwhile, Fiji Airways has also announced plans to expand its Adelaide-Nadi service from two to three flights per week starting in April 2025, utilising 170-seat B737 Max 8 aircraft. This expansion aims to enhance connectivity between South Australia and Fiji, offering passengers more travel options.

The new schedule is designed to provide family-friendly departure and arrival times, avoiding overnight travel. Flights will depart Nadi at 7:30 am and arrive in Adelaide at 11:35 am, with return flights departing Adelaide at 12:35 pm and arriving in Nadi at 8:15 pm.
The expansion of the Adelaide-Nadi service is expected to boost tourism and trade opportunities between South Australia and Fiji. It provides South Australians with greater access to Fiji’s renowned resorts and cultural experiences, while also facilitating Fijian travellers’ exploration of South Australia’s attractions.
