The AFBC was pleased to host Brent Hill, CEO of Fiji Tourism, in an online briefing to members and guests about preparations being made for the reopening of Fiji’s tourism industry very soon. The Fijian government has stated it intends to open Fiji’s international borders on 1 November 2021, the Australian government has announced its intention that on 16 December 2021 remove the requirement for Australians to obtain approval to leave the country, Qantas has announced the resumption of services to Fiji on 19 December 2021 and Fiji Airways has flight bookings open also. Fiji is poised to be one of the earliest destinations to which Australians can travel post-covid, so you could start planning your next visit.
