As the newly elected President of the Australia Fiji Business Council, it is my honour and privilege to address you during this festive season. The trust you have placed in me inspires a deep commitment to strengthening the dynamic economic and business ties between Australia and Fiji.
2024 has been a remarkable year for the Australia-Fiji Vuvale Partnership. This unique bond, symbolising the familial relationship between our two nations, continues to foster mutual respect, shared values, and collaborative growth. Bilateral trade and investment have flourished, creating opportunities for businesses across sectors such as tourism, infrastructure, agribusiness, and renewable energy. These developments underscore the enduring strength and mutual benefits of our partnership.
The Council’s mission has always been to provide a platform for fostering meaningful connections, advocating for our members, and supporting the growth of businesses that contribute to the prosperity of both nations. In 2024, we advanced these goals through impactful events, thought leadership, and strategic advocacy. As we look toward 2025, I am committed to building on this momentum, ensuring that the Australia Fiji Business Council remains a trusted voice and an effective catalyst for business success.
