Sydney expo helps boost Fijian exports

Investment Fiji, in collaboration with the Fiji Consulate General & Trade Commission in Australia & New Zealand, provided a unique opportunity for eight Fijian companies to promote their products on an international stage at the Naturally Good Expo in Sydney. Held on June 3-4, 2024, at the ICC Sydney, Darling Harbour, this event marked a significant milestone for Fijian businesses aiming to expand their global footprint.

The Fijian companies that participated in this prestigious expo included Down to Earth Fiji, TaveNiu, Golden Ocean, Vinaka Agriculture, Juice Fiji, Lami Kava, Loloma Fiji, and Road Kings Farms. These businesses independently bore the costs of their participation, underscoring their commitment to showcasing their products and exploring potential business leads and connections that could result in substantial deals.

Daniel Stow, Fiji’s Trade Commissioner to Australia and New Zealand, expressed his satisfaction with the collaboration with Investment Fiji for the Naturally Good Expo. He highlighted the expo’s role as an essential platform for Fijian exporters to present their products to a targeted international audience. Stow said, “We’re pleased to partner with Investment Fiji once again for this year’s Naturally Good Expo – providing an important platform for Fijian exporters to showcase their products to a targeted international audience.” He also said the opportunity for these companies to meet prospective buyers and importers while gaining insights into the Australian market and consumer trends, knowledge they could bring back to Fiji to enhance their operations.

Investment Fiji’s Chief Executive Officer, Kamal Chetty, underscored the importance of promoting Fijian-made products on a global scale. The Naturally Good Expo, recognised as the Southern Hemisphere’s leading event for health and wellness retail professionals, has established itself as a premier platform for natural and organic industry players over the past seven years.
