Call for Submissions for Fiji’s 2024-25 National Budget

Mar 9, 2024 | Uncategorized

Fiji’s Ministry of Finance, Strategic Planning, National Development and Statistics is once again calling on individuals, businesses and community groups to make their voices heard as preparation begins for the 2024-2025 National Budget.

The 2024-2025 Budget will focus on the Government’s vision of rebuilding a better Fiji together. The Budget will pursue strategies to safeguard macro-fiscal stability by promoting sustainable and resilient private sector led growth, addressing socio-economic challenges, nurturing inclusive development, and building economic and fiscal safeguards to respond to future shocks. The National Budget will also prioritise key infrastructure needs, build climate resilience, fast track structural reforms and improve efficiency in public service delivery. The 2024-2025 Budget will be announced in June 2024.

As a citizen, your input is crucial in this journey to shape policies that will build an inclusive and prosperous nation. Written submissions can either be posted, hand-delivered or e-mailed by no later than Friday, 3 May 2024 to the following addresses:
